While never actually meeting, they meet surreptitiously, gazing out of their respective kitchen windows, as Jake brews Dana her nightly cup of tea. But little does Jake know, Dana might have something brewing herself.

Short
A young oil miner returns to his abandoned hometown after the suicide of his father. He reconnects with his estranged mother, and meets his stepsister who unknowingly falls in love with him. Through his return, he is finally able to move on in life.

We’ve reached our deadlines for Late and Extended submissions, and have now closed that process. But what a great turnout we’ve had this year. The review committee is busy and things are shaping up for a great festival in March.

We’ve been reviewing films for several weeks now and seen many impressive entries. The Festival is shaping up nicely; I can’t wait for March! But we want more, more! And luckily there’s still time to get in on the action.
